Description

Solid Carbide Spiral Plunge Router Bits for timber
Spiral bits combine a shearing action in cutting with an augering action in chip clearance. The shearing action yields an especially clean & accurate cut, while the augering action clears chips from the cut. The “up-cut” shears from the bottom up, pulling chips from the bottom up, thus allowing deeper penetration with less stress on the tool. An excellent choice for mortising.

  • Unique carbide grade for longer lifetime in abrasive materials
  • Produces a superior finish and longer tool life
  • Razor-sharp cutting edges/polished flutes’
  • Can be used with hand-held, table-mounted
    portable routers and CNC machines
  • Industrial quality
These router bits are great for production settings and excellent for creating grooves and dado cuts in softwood, hardwoods, plywood and composite materials. Primarily used on CNC machines and other automatic routers.

Visit the following websites for calculating feeds and speeds

Calculating feeds and speeds can sometimes seem like a daunting task that’s why we recommend using the following links to various online calculators to improve your cut quality and production time.

FS Wizard (A free tool for calculating feeds and speeds, )

G Wizard (If you have a CNC router I recommend this option as it has support for CNC routers as well as using a compression Endmill)

It can be hard to believe that poor cut quality and short tool life is often the result of slow cutting which is the result of excess friction and rubbing, to get the most out of your carbide tool and improve cutting times please visit the links above to get the most life out of your endmills
